Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the BarcodesGenerator website at barcodesgenerator.net ("the site"). The legal operator has not yet been configured for this deployment. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the site.

1. Informational use only

BarcodesGenerator provides free, general-purpose utilities that generate barcode images in your browser. Results are provided for general informational purposes. They are not financial, legal, tax, accounting, medical, or other professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the site. In particular, generating a barcode does not allocate, register, or license the number encoded in it: retail numbers (EAN/UPC GTINs) are licensed through GS1, and ISBNs are issued by national ISBN agencies. You are responsible for having the right to use any number you encode.

2. No guarantee of suitability

We work to keep the tools accurate — the check-digit and validation logic is tested and documented (see the methodology page) — but the site is provided"as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. In particular, we do not warrant that a generated barcode will scan on any specific hardware or print process: verify every barcode with your own scanner before production, print, or commercial use.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the site, its hosting, or its security;
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content by automated means in a manner that burdens the service;
  • Misrepresent generated barcodes as registered, licensed, or certified numbers when they are not — including encoding GTINs or ISBNs you have no right to use on commercial products;
  • Use the site to develop or distribute malware or to conduct fraudulent activity.

4. Intellectual property

The site's content — including text, explanations, worked examples, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to the applicable rights holder and protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the tools and quote brief excerpts with attribution; you may not republish substantial portions of the site or its content as your own. The site operator claims no rights in barcode images you generate, though the numbers, names, or other material they encode may be subject to third-party rights or licensing as described in section 1.

5. Third-party services and advertising

The site may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) and may link to third-party sites. Those services and sites are governed by their own terms and policies; BarcodesGenerator is not responsible for their content or practices. The presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement.

6. Availability and modification

We may add, change, suspend, or remove tools or content at any time, and may modify these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from or related to your use of the site or reliance on any result it produces. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

No governing law or forum has been configured. The site does not infer a jurisdiction from hosting, domain registration, the publisher brand, or a visitor's location. The owner must supply and legally review PUBLIC_GOVERNING_LAW before these terms are treated as production-ready.

9. Contact

No monitored legal/privacy address is configured. The contact page records the same missing-contact state.
